		<description><![CDATA[Excellent article on Humboldt and cosmopolitanism, arguing that the &#8216;Weltbürger&#8217; was a scientist and the scientist a &#8216;Weltbürger.&#8217; This reminds me of my own research on the use of the term cosmopolitan and citizen of the world in eighteenth century France.
